Being Homeless

Hey. I'm Homeless.

Anyways, I just had a sweet show in NYC this tuesday (thanks to Adam Mamawala) and it was super-duper. Adam did a lot of new stuff and it was spectacular. He's making huge improvements on what is already an amazing set and it really is amazing. It's so cool to see people who are already really good at what they do get even better. If you haven't seen him perform yet, try and see him, you won't be disappointed.

The show was awesome though. It was so good to perform in New York for more than 2 seconds and I think the show went really well. I should be getting a DVD soon (also thanks to Adam) and if I can post it on here I'll definitely do that. If not, I'll just throw it on facebook.

But anyways, I don't have an actual place to live right now. My house is currently getting some work done on it (even though my lease started on the first, but who's counting?) and I'm not allowed to live there. It's not too bad though, I still have clean clothes and a sea of ramen to slurp away my sorrows.

Today I was on facebook minding my own business and some random dude chatted me up and started interviewing me about my penis. I didn't know who it was and the conversation got very strange. He wanted pictures but I just wanted to be left alone. Just so everyone knows, when I'm ready to show the world my penis, I'll make sure everyone knows the website. I'll get it published in Dr. Suess books. I wish I didn't get rid of the text because I would have posted it. It was good.

I hate summer classes so much. Labs are the worst. If I have to write another one, I'll be very upset. I probably wont do anything too drastic, but I'll be in a bad mood for a little bit.

I don't really have anything else insightful to talk about.

Recent Shows and Future Plans

Yo,

April 22nd was the Stephen Lynch show that I was given the opportunity to open up for. CUB (College Union Board, my college's entertainment crew) was extremely nice and very patient. Stephen Lynch on the other hand, was a huge douchebag. But he was funny, so he still got paid. Nice job Stephen, I enjoyed the show.

Last Tuesday night I was invited to do a benefit show with Lambda Pi Eta for young children with cancer. Adam Mamawala was the headliner and did a fantastic 20-30 minute set of all his material that he's been creating throughout college.

Other openers included Gordon Baker Bone (hilarious and black), Noah Houlihan (virgin comedy, absolutely hysterical) and Phil Toronto. Everyone did a fanstastic job, but I really think Noah stole the show. His hilarious self-depricating act about his virginity, his girlfriend, and life without making it all the way around the bases was something I had never heard of before. Real nice stage presence too.

Anyways, finals are going down. Theres a lot of talk about people who want to kill themselves but I think thats taking it a little too far. I mean, I definitely don't enjoy finals, but I think there are worse things that could happen to a person...losing all sensitivity in the left side of your body is pretty bad...or being approached by a homeless person when you really get iffy about that kind of thing.

Hopefully this summer I can nab a few shows in the Philadelphia region since I'll be living at school (just a short 40 minute train ride away from living the dream...dream train). Pictures coming soon...and by soon I mean within the next 5 years.
